You Can Do It: Get Back on Track with 3 Easy Tips

I’m sharing a bit of encouragement today because sometimes it can feel like we’ve fallen completely off track with our healthy habits, doesn’t it?

I recently heard from someone who said, 

"I fell all the way off the boat when I was on vacation, and now I’m trying to get my frame of mind back focused. I’m craving all of the sweets. Any suggestions for my restart?"

If you’ve ever felt like that, you're definitely not alone.

It’s amazing how fast old habits sneak back in, but the good news? You can get back on track, and it’s not as hard as it might feel right now.

Here are a few ideas that might help if you’re feeling stuck:

1. Reconnect with Your WHY

Take a moment to remind yourself why you want to eat well. Maybe it’s the way you feel—lighter, more energized, able to sleep better. Or it could be the confidence boost you get when you’re comfortable in your clothes. Whatever it is, hold on to that.

Remember, it’s easier to push through when we focus on how amazing it’s going to feel afterward!

2. Decide & Commit

Nike was onto something with “Just Do It”. Sometimes, we need to take that first step even if it feels tough.The more you do it, the easier it gets.

Start small: try cutting out sweets for a few days or a week. Once they’re out of your system, you might be surprised how much the cravings fade.

3. Make It Easy

Set yourself up for success. Go to the store and stock up on fruits, veggies, and lean proteins you actually like.

When your kitchen is full of healthy options, it becomes easier to get back into your good habits without feeling deprived.

Progress isn't a straight line, and that's okay. Every little step forward counts. You've got this!
